Refund Policy

Last updated 22 August 2026

Notes are delivered the moment you pay, and every page is watermarked with your name and the time you opened it. That shapes what we can fairly offer: you can change your mind about something you have not read, but nobody can un-read what they have already read.

Refunds within 7 days, if you have not opened it

If you have not opened a note or answer key, you can request a full refund within 7 days of buying it, for any reason. You do not have to justify it.

Opening means loading the material in the reader even once. We record this automatically, so it is a matter of record rather than a matter of argument, and it means we can answer your request by checking, not by negotiating.

After 7 days, or once the material has been opened, purchases are final.

Refunds we always give

These are our failures rather than your change of mind, and they are refunded in full whenever they happen, with no time limit:

  • A payment took money and unlocked nothing. We will either complete the purchase or refund it, whichever you prefer.
  • You were charged twice for the same item. The duplicate is refunded.
  • The wrong item was unlocked. We correct it or refund it.

If a payment succeeded but nothing unlocked, please tell us even if you do not want a refund It usually means a confirmation did not reach us, and we want to resolve that quickly.

What is not refundable

  • Material you have opened, regardless of how much you read
  • Purchases older than 7 days
  • Accounts suspended for sharing, redistributing or copying content. Losing access that way is a consequence of the terms, not a service failure
  • A temporary outage. If reading was unavailable for a time, your purchase is unaffected and the content is still yours. Contact us if an outage was long enough to matter

How to request one

Open your purchase history. Anything still refundable shows a Request refund button, along with the date its window closes. The refund is processed immediately and you lose access to that material. We ask you to confirm before it goes through.

If a purchase does not show the button, the page will say why. Where you think that is wrong, or the purchase is one of the cases above that we always refund, email billing@getnotes.co.in with your invoice number (found on every order in your purchase history), and we will deal with it by hand.

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay and usually take five to seven working days to appear. That last part is your bank's timing, not ours.

If you think this is unfair in your case

Policies cannot anticipate everything. If something happened that this page does not cover, write to us and say so plainly. We would rather make an exception occasionally than defend a rule that produced a bad outcome.
