Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use GetNotes. Using the service means you accept them.

What you are buying

A purchase buys you the right to read that material in your browser on GetNotes, for as long as we operate the service. It is not a file, and it is not transferable. There is deliberately no download: content is streamed page by page and cannot be saved from the product.

One account, one person

Accounts are personal. Only one device may be signed in at a time; signing in elsewhere ends the earlier session immediately. Sharing your account, or your access, is a breach of these terms.

What you may not do

• Copy, photograph, screenshot, record or reproduce purchased content
• Share, resell, republish or distribute it, in any form
• Share your account or sign-in details
• Attempt to circumvent the protections on the reader, including extracting page images or reusing access tokens
• Use automated tools to access the service or bulk-download content

Every page you read is watermarked with your identity and each opening is recorded. Content found circulating can be traced to the account it came from.

If you break these terms

We may suspend or terminate your account. Where content has been redistributed we may also pursue the remedies available to us and to the authors whose work it is. Suspension for misuse does not entitle you to a refund.

Content and accuracy

Notes and answer keys are study aids prepared by contributors. They are not legal advice, and we do not guarantee they are complete, current or correct for any examination. Verify anything you rely on against your own syllabus and primary sources.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages at our providers, and failures beyond our control will happen. Where an outage is prolonged, contact us.

Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed by Razorpay; we do not handle your card or banking credentials. Access is granted once payment is confirmed to us, which is normally immediate.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our refund policy.

Changes to the service

We may add, change or withdraw material. If we withdraw something you have bought, you keep access to it, except where we are required to remove it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
